Description / Expertise
China Trade black lacquer games box of rectangular domed form with canted corners standing upon carved dragon's paw feet. The exterior with decorated panels. The removable lid reveals four canted lidded counter boxes with pierced fretted mother of pearl gaming counters, two tiers of gaming counter dishes and a pair of lidded games or card boxes, all finely decorated. Made in Canton for the English or American export market.
